Default Applying multi-colored vinyl designs... help!!

Hello there,

We have a solid grasp on PRINTING multicolor designs and the seperate layers etc.... But the question IS.......!!

How do we apply these graphics? Say to a tshirt or even banner stock... Is it an "all at one shot" type deal... Or do we lay one color at a time?

And for tshirts... All at the same time? One color at a time? And if it IS one at a time...And colors are overlapping/on top of eachother.. Can the first color be heated again via the press a second time?

So confusing! Thanks in advance for any suggestiong/help you may have!

Lay one color at a time in both cases.
The shirt vinyl can be reheated, overlaps & layers are ok.

One thing to be careful with when laying layers of sign vinyl is that vinyl on vinyl will get bubbles easier then just laying the vinyl on the substrate so.. just be aware and more careful when laying the second layer.
I usually use rapid tac to apply layered sign vinyl

The vinyl will stretch and contract with the heat, so don't expect the best registration. I would definitely layer the colors and "knock out" the colors. Meaning if you have white text with a black outline, go with a solid black and not just an outline.
