I just got my new GX-24 cutter last night, with the stand. Everything setup, working well. But I can't figure out how to setup the rolls. The stand only supports them if they have the cardboard core in them. Mine are only 2" diameter without a core and fall through the rollers.
Does anyone have a work-around?
Note: I can't bolt new parts to my cutter, it's a lease
Sounds like your purchasing by the foot, in which case 5-10 foot sheets of vinyl would simply hang off the rear. If you want to keep it off the floor than set up a box of some sort to hold the vinyl while it hangs off the rear.
Mine is without the stand and I do this all the time with short rolls.

I ordered 3 and 9 yard rolls. The 3 won't be too bad, but the 9 worried me.
I talked my buddy at the sign shop into saving his cores so I can re-roll mine onto them. Hopefully they're the right size.
Joto Paper. They do 3, 9 and 27yards.
My other supplier does 1, 5 and something larger.
I'm not ready for the full rolls yet, budget won't allow. Maybe as I replace them one by one, but not all at once.
