I am looking to buy siser easyweed vinyl, preferably by the foot, in Canada. Most US companies that sell off the internet charge an arm and a leg to ship to Canada, so if anyone knows of a Canadian distributor, that would be great.
Hi Keith -- thanks for the suggestion, but I have to ask -- what is this website? It's so confusing and pretty unprofessional looking. Some of the text is symbols, not even english letters! And if it's your site, or a friend's, I do apologize. Have you ordered from this site before?
I understand what you are saying as I thought pretty much the same. I just know of him
from a friend that deals with him all the time. He is also a powerseller on ebay with a good
feedback percentage. tdneon88 is his handle he is out of Toronto.
I would deal with him if it wasn't for shipping costs as I am on the West Coast.
Haven't heard anything bad about him. But apparently he does have some
good products. Here is one that is on the West Coast www.starlinepacfic.com
I have been to the ASC office. It is a Chinese gentleman with not much english. But he will provide support. Don't be tempted by his cheap vinyl cutter, but his heat press we have been very happy with. We use other equipment and supplies from there too. Including his continuous ink system.
I'm not familiar with the brand vinyl you are looking for, so I will simply describe the stuff you get from ASC.
It is a thicker vinyl. The finished product is good and solid. But, use it only for larger designs, it does not handle fine detail well because of the thickness and because the carrier is low tack. His colour selection varies. He has the regular vinyl, about $10/yard. Plus flock in sheets only. And don't use his shiny gold. It was a hassle, cut crappy, hard to weed and looked really bad.
I should mention... other suppliers in Canada.
Toronto: Stahls has a wide variety of vinyl types, plus a good colour selection of each. I love their Fashion Film, but not the Gorilla Grip. Their Econo Film is more like ASC365 mentioned above.
BC: Joto Paper is the supplier I've been using recently. They offer a wider range of printable products, so I can one stop shop. Their Multi-Cut is thin & high tack, like the Fashion Film at Stahls. Good for high detail.
Maybe check out Nazdar - they have a Canada branch and sell all the supplies/inks you would need (even though many of them are manufactured in the US - theyre still shipped to the Canada branch for distribution)

Hi, anyone know of or suggest Toronto/Mississauga/GTA sellers or retailers of vinyl plotter-cutters (possibly the Rabbit) with good prices? Thanks,
If you want the Rabbit, ASC365 carries it. BUT... think VERY carefully before buying that cutter. It is cheap for a reason. We had one. It cost us twice as much in vinyl because we had to redo so much of our work. It is not very accurate and it has memory issues that cause it to randomly cut extra lines or to simply distort the job it's working on. Think ours was defective? This was the second one... the first was worse. and some of the simple features it is missing make it more of a hassle... it doesn't send the vinyl dimensions to the computer for accurate layout... it can't contour cut... limited programs it can work with/from
We thought we couldn't afford a good cutter, but really, we couldn't afford not to have a good cutter. I just got a GX24 on lease to own. If this is something you want more info on, pm me. I've had mine nearly a month now and I'm very happy.
