Do you have to have a special mask for the solutions opaque? We got some from imprintables but we used regular sign vinyl mask and t didn't seem to work very well
Thanks so much
I dont know if you are suppost to use differant mask.. but I just used my regular mask last time and it worked great...
what kinda problems are you haveing Chris?
It just didn't stick to the shirt very well. We did one and it was all wrinkled and it stuck fine but then we decided to do a good one and it wouldn't stick. (I know doesn't make sense)
I was also going to ask but if I need to go somewhere else let me know
What kind of vinyl do use for the bumper stickers?
Thanks Sue for all the help, we have been using the machine and love it so far, now if I can just figure out how to get the contour cut to work on a jpg. and not just vectored images.
Also do you use the clear coat on the bumper stickers? what about the printed cut vinyl? Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I do it right with the printed stuff outside

I use the Solutions Mask from Imprintables without problem. Press the vinyl and mask, peel the mask then press again with a piece of parchment or teflon. We haven't had a problem yet with getting the images to stick.

When I use Solutions Magic on Solutions Opaque, usually the mask just curls up off of the pressed vinyl as soon as the press opens. This is very unlike Eco-Film where the carrier sheet stays nice and flat and waits for you to peel it up when you are ready to do so.

Even though it says hot peel I let it cool for a second or two before peeling. Test a corner before you try to remove the entire mask and find the timing that works best for you.

The solutions mask or the TTD mask would work with the solutions opaque. When using the solutions mask, I always apply it with a cover sheet over top of it - this will help to keep the curling from possibly lifting up your design. Also, never exceed 5 seconds on the first hit with the solutions mask. Then complete the duration of your application after the mask is release.
The TTD mask also works well - and does not have the curling issue, so a cover sheet is not needed on the first hit.
