Need to Register?

I just purchased a SeikiTech 870T cutter..... everything seems okay at the moment, except that the letters aren't closing properly. The cutting depth seems fine as the letters will weed easily for the most part, but certain letters don't "close" so, of course, they won't weed properly. I have it set to a slow speed hoping that would make it better, but no success.

The manual is very small and not much help and I'd like to get this thing up and working so I can work over the weekend with it.

Any help appreciated! (this is regular vinyl)

What design program are you using? Are the letters closed on screen, zoom in to check.
If that's good call tech support.

FlexiStarter..... just set up yesterday. I've tried different "blade" settings but no luck closing the letters.... I am waiting for a call back from the software peeps, but heard that it could take a while and just was interested to know if anyone else had this problem and how they handled them.... is the type of blade to fault? Angle of blade? Or is it simply a setting in the software that is causing this? It doesn't happen on all letters, just some!

Arrgg..

It's an offset issue. Go into production manager then setup then default job properties....click on the cutter tab and checkmark the offset button. Try changing it to like .015 and see if that closes it for you.

Just got off the phone with the hardware company and it appears that it was a hardware issue..... they had me tweak some things and off she went!
