Default Eco Film vs. Easy Weed???

I've been a user of ThermoFlex primarily but have started using more of the Eco Film and love it. Also, I recently bought a roll of Easy Weed and it seemed very similar to the Eco Film from Imprintables.

Easy Weed is cheaper so I'm wondering what the big diference is between them?

Anybody happen to know??

It very well could be the same vinyl under a different name. I'm not sure of the cost difference, but with the eco-film you have good support for the product with Josh. He is a great support to help get you on track. If you find the definitive answer please post. ..... JB

Eco-Film has a wider color gamut and is actually less expensive in larger size rolls, but more expensive in the smaller size rolls when compared.

Thanks for the feedback Josh....

Are they the same or different materials? Are they made by the same company?

They seemed very similar to me so trying to understand what the differences may be between the two products (if any).

Why is one less expensive in smaller rolls and the other cheaper in larger rolls????

Thanks!

John

Yep..the support is already a BIG plus weighing in for Josh & Imprintables!!

I just reviewed the spec. sheets again from Siser NA and Imprintables site and both say 302 deg for 10-15 seconds and that it works on 100% cotton, Polyester and cotton / poly blends. VERY similar wording on both. Even the EZ Weed material on Imprintables own site has the exact same parameters.

So..the question is...what is the difference??? There has got to be one or why even offer both products on the website??

I just feel like I'm missing something obvious here..LOL

I just used some thermo flex plus for the first time tonight and it was tough to weed.... is this normal? it was cut great but because the backing is so sticky it made it tough to peel. The shirt came out great and has a very soft hand too, I was impressed.

Yeah..it tends to be a little tougher to pull away from the backing. Some colors are tougher than others I've noticed.
