Need to Register?

hi all, i have just set uo my usp-cut 25" cutter. i have done test cut ie: square.
it cut perfect. my problem -- i type text only
select it and press "cutter" and i get "windows sockets initialization failed" and i have to shut down.
i am newbie as you can see

and i need help in the worst way

Sounds like a software issue, so I would uninstall and then re-install the software.

i have dedicated computer and am working offline. could this be a problem?

ken , probably easier question--- what do i do to export text from puter(signblazer6) to cutter ?

I ended up registering s/b and working off my regular on line computer and after a few tries i did my first test cut

I am sure I will need help as i progress as I am such a newbie

By "offline" do you mean a computer without internet access???
I believe the SignBlazer s/w that comes with it checks for updates everytime it starts up and also verifies the registration...
