Default help with p-cut

hi all, i have just set uo my usp-cut 25" cutter. i have done test cut ie: square.
it cut perfect. my problem -- i type text only
select it and press "cutter" and i get "windows sockets initialization failed" and i have to shut down.
i am newbie as you can see and i need help in the worst way

Sounds like a software issue, so I would uninstall and then re-install the software.

I ended up registering s/b and working off my regular on line computer and after a few tries i did my first test cut

By "offline" do you mean a computer without internet access???
I believe the SignBlazer s/w that comes with it checks for updates everytime it starts up and also verifies the registration...

Sign Blazer doesn't check registration online that I am aware of. I know Sign Cut x2 does, but wasn't aware of Sign Blazer doing it.

SignBlazer should work fine whether the computer in connected to the internet or not. Maybe his just needed to update, which would require internet.
