Hello, everyone I joined back in Feb as we where opening our new store and well this is the first time I have had a chance to revist. We purchased a GX-24 several months ago and the idea was for my son to run it since I am to busy in my embroidery store, well did not work out as planned now I have this machine and have figured out how to do one color designs. I am in desprate need of making a 2 color design. I created it in Corel 12 using fonts from Stahl's Template it's a 2 color design for the front of a baseball jersy that has a white foreground and a red background (bubbled effect) when I try and bring it into the Roland software I get lost because it only shows it like a one color, then I notice that the lines are not connected, I converted them in Corel. Can someone please help me figure this out, I only need 5 done and I need them by Wednesday if possible. I've searched the forum and could not find complete directions, I also searched the web maybe for a you tube video with no luck. Any help would be great.
One of the easiest ways might to be just making two files in Corel. One of the foreground and one of the background. Then importing them into the Roland software and cutting them from separate files.

That's the way to do it with Cut Studio. There's no way to cut-by-color in that program.
It would cost a little more, but another option is to purchase another cutting program like SignCut X2 or Sign Blazer and cut vinyl and twill with that program, and only use Cut Studio for contour cutting printed graphics.
Since I am getting my Copam 2500 delivered tomorrow, (Yay), I'll need to know this also. I chose signCut X2 for the software. So on this software, I will be able to create two color numbers and letters and the cutter will cut them? The other option would be to create two sets of letters, one for the top color and another larger size for the outline color?

It would be really cool of you to post after you were able to figure this out and lend a hand to others facing the same dilemma.
...think about it. ...maybe a youtube video of your own!!

That's kinda what I do but in reverse... I start with 1 file in Corel, then use the plug in to take it into CutStudio. I save the cutstudio file twice, each file name having the color as part of the name. Then I go back and delete out the cut lines from each file for whatever color doesn't apply and then cut in 2 stages. Slight twist but I've found that's what works for me.
By keeping the original all together in Corel, I can always go back and modify the design or start over...
So, I've created 2 files in Corel the background is fine because it's so think like a bubble effect but the foreground is a problem, it's the Scriptjet font from the Stahl's Template CD and since it's a cursive lettering it shows that all the letters are disconnected. I've tried converting them with no luck. There has to be an easier way to do this, I think I will call Stahl's and ask them how they do it. I will post the instructions as soon as I figure them out. Thanks for all the advice.
Are the letters separated? kerning will bring them together, then you may have to change the view to wireframe to connect all the letters. I believe I know what you're talking about since I do a lot of ballpark script and then attach a tail for cheer type designs. It can be a pain in the butt sometimes.
