Ok I just posted on here that I found a 15x15 US Cutter heat press and was wondering if it was a good press or not. I still am, but I also want to say I was looking on ebay for presses and thought this was a good price for a press. Well I decided to go to the US Cutter website and see if I could find out anymore information about the press. Well on the website I found out it was $20 cheaper, and I think this forum has some sort of promotional code so you can receive an additional discount.
So I am still wondering if these are good presses, and where do I find that promotional code?

Reason: needs different title
You can read all about the US Cutter in our vinyl transfer section of the forum here. Take some time to read the topics that have already been posted about it or do a forum search for US Cutter:
There are no t-shirtforums discounts for US Cutter machines.

I also want to know if I can use 100% cotton 50/50 t-shirts with this press?
The US Cutter machine is not a heat press, it is a plotter, it never comes in contact with your t-shirts. So it doesn't matter what kind of t-shirt you use.
There is vinyl material that work will for all types of t-shirt materials.
UScutter sells a decent vinyl cutter for the money. They work hard to support their prouct. I know they have experienced growing pains trying to stay on top of customer service. I think they are a quality company. All that being said I would not buy a heat press from them at this point. I would wait to see if they are able to get over their growing pains. They just added the Graph tech line to their plate too. This is going to spread them even thinner, so I woud advise you to keep all this in mind when purchaseing a heat press. I want to end by saying"I truly feel they are a quality company" ...... JB
Rodney US Cutter does sell heat presses now, honestly I don't know the quality of their presses though. I know they are made in China. I would go to Welcome to the Frontpage and check out their forums and see what people are saying about them.
I know their cutters can't be beat for the price but their heat presses I have no idea about.
From what I have heard from our customers, they are good for the price point. You plug it in, turn it on, set the temp and it heats up, and set the timer for whatever you are pressing. Maybe not quite the fit and finish of a name brand heat press, but they are a fraction of the cost.

So it would be a fairly reasonable press for the money?
I just want to be able to press numbers and a few other transfers whe I go to shows.
If you have the budget to swing a better heat press, then that would be the way to go, but if you are on a tight budget and need to get started, the heat press units we offer will get your feet off the ground, then you can upgrade at a later date.....
