I just got my Roland plotter up and running, and when i am cutting text for example, the lines seem a bit "wiggly". There not bad at all, just a little less clean compared with my other cutter. I have checked the text in corel and it looks fine, and have also tried adjusting cutting depth.
Are you talking about when just doing vinyl or when doing print-cut? The print-cut application does need to be cleaned up some times depending on the graphic. Not sure what the problem would be with just cutting vinyl.
darz, i had that same problem and i did exactly as u did and adjusted the blade depth. it worked for me, just make sure that ur depth is not more then half a credit cards thickness.
GX-24 manual says blade exposure should be thickness of material + 1/2 thickness of backing material. Now unless you have a pair of calipers, that might be a bit difficult to gauge, so, for what it's worth, you gotta play with it. I start with the credit card (though I use the full thickness of a credit card) and play with my force setting and that seems to work great.
