So i was looking into a bunch of different methods and thought I had figured out what I wanted to do. I went over to a friends house and her dad used to do vinyl and he showed me a bunch of stuff and now I'm thinking that would be my best route.
So... What would be a cheap plotter to get to start out with preferably around $300 dollars and around 16"? I don't care about brand or quality much cause I'll make plenty before it breaks on me.
What CHEAP vinyl is good for shirts?
What CHEAP vinyl is good for decals?
Those 3 should get me enough to look into. Again, though, I need a cheap plotter, I can't afford 2 or 3 thousand dollars on a plotter just because it's a roland or versacamm or whatever, i need something to get me started. And if anyone has a plotter they would like to sell me for around 300, let me know!
"Cheap" should never be the way to go. If you use cheap supplies with a cheap cutter on cheap t shirts, you are selling cheap. Your customers will love the prices on their first order, but because you went "cheap", they probably won't come back to you. Repeat business and building a trust with your customers is more iimportant than the "smash and grab" approach. If you can't afford to invest some money on quality equipment and supplies, maybe you should save up your cash until you can.
