Default Another newbie Question

I think I have my choices narrowed down.

Roland GX24 Without stand for $1595.. no shipping (doesn't require extra software) Specialty Warehouse

Sign Warehouse (I know you warned me but I dont know where else to buy from)

Vinyl Express Qe60 W/Stand $1395.00
Comes with a supply pack & upgraded software
$40.00 Shipping no extra software needed

Graphtec 24 w/stand $1295.00 (need to have coral)

NOW I NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO BUY!! Thanks for all the help you've given me.

Check out Josh at Imprintables.com.

I've been working with him for the last few weeks and he has consistently given my company excellent service and pricing.

I have a Roland GX24 en route to me now for twill cutting. I couldn't tell you the exact price I paid for it as I ordered quite a bit of other materials to go with it.

Why do you need corel with the graphtec? Also you can download Inkscape from Inkscape. Draw Freely. and it is supposed to be as good as Corel and Illustrator and it is completely free. I haven't used it myself, but there are alot of people who do and swear by it.

The Gaphtec people told me it would not work unless I had corel or adobe software

I've never used a Graphtec, but they should have some kind of cutter software that comes with the cutter and it would have to support vector files, which is what Inkscape produces.

I'd say they are talking about a plugin for their software that supports Corel Draw and Illy, which basically allows you to click a button from with either Draw or Illy to open their cutter software. Honestly I have never used such a plugin as I always just import my files into my cutting software.
