Question Laying vinyl in unique positions

Placing an image in a unique spot other than front or back center has become a challange for me. The more I do it the more it seems like maybe the front and back centers are the best. Here is a picture that I took of a shirt with the image rolled to the rear and down the sleeve. I would like to know anybody else that has tried this to let me know if there is a secret to not creasing the image as you roll it to the back. I tried to flatten the shirt into an awkward shape and it refused to co-operate. After pressing it with the vinyl it looks great while laying flat, but when it is put on the body you can see an "air gap" appear on the shoulder.

Default Re: Laying vinyl in unique positions

I'm sure could use a hat press to do the area that rolls over. If you don't have a heat press maybe try to use some curved object like a pillow to do the curved are in small incremnets. I'm not sur if it will work. I was kinda thinling out loud. Let us know if you figure it out. You can take the vinyl off and try again until you get it right. ... JB
