Hello , I have someone asking me to make some vinyl Numbers for 15 soccer jerseys. size of the numbers will be 8" each. Just one ccolour (black)

I think i would be using either the Thermo Grip material or maybe the Thermo film material for this numbers
the costumer will be supplying the jerseys.

So how much would you normally charge for a job like this

I get $7.00 for a name and number on a shirt. I would not turn my press on for less than $5.00. I hope this helps you. ..... JB

Of course you want to figure out your cost of vinyl. And be sure to calculate it by how large the piece of vinyl you need to use is, not by how large the number is (i.e. you're going to use more than 8" of vinyl to cut an 8" number.

If the jerseys are being supplied by the customer, this would be a good time to figure out what your minimum price for customer supplied goods is going to be.

I, for example, have a $14 per piece minimum for customer supplied goods -- vinyl or embroidery. Reason? Because I make my money on the garments and accessories...if I'm not selling that, I gotta make a buck somewhere!

Take into consideration not just your cost of materials, and production time. You need to also consider the time you're spending selling the job (some customers take up a lot of your time), setting it up, and, in the case of embroidery, trimming, etc.

thank you so much COEDS and deChez. I roughly tried to calculate prices and i came up with a price of 5.25 each shirt with number on the back and a logo on the front (pocket size, left side of the shirt. hope I'm not too off
