Default Vinyl on 100% Polyester Mesh -Which to Use

I have Stahl's thermofilm and thermogrip and I am doing shorts that are 100% polyester and they are tricot mesh. I need to do names on them and I am not sure which one of the above to use. These are my only choices as it has to be done with weekend and that is all I have. Does anyone know which is better? Thermofilm says poly/cotton blends, 100% cotton or 100% poly, fleece and polyester knits and acrylic blends. thermogrip says nylon meshes, dazzle nylon, poly/cotton blends, 100% cotton and 100% poly. Neither mention polyester meshes, just nylon messes. Since thermogrip works on 100% poly and nylon meshes, should I use that?

I'd make one with the thermogrip and throw it in the washer/dryer and see what happens...

I'm in a similar boat, trying to find the right thing to use on 100% polyester jackets that have a water resistant finish. Not having much luck getting plastisol transfers to stay on so far...

I have used thermofilm in the past on poly mesh tanks and shorts with no issues.
