Default Spectra Reflect:transfer paper sticking

I am using Spectra Reflect and when I press the shirts it is somewhat hard to pull off the mylar (it likes to stick to the shirt) and a few of the letters don't like to release.
Thanks

Are you following this application?

1) PREHEAT - Preheat garment at a temperature of 330º F for 10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

2) APPLY - Apply SPECTRA™ Reflect designs to substrate for 2 seconds at a temperature of 330º F using LIGHT pressure.

3) PEEL - Remove mylar backing from SPECTRA™ Reflect. PEEL HOT !

4) Cover - Cover with teflon sheet and press for an additional 15 seconds

yes that is exactly what I did, then I thought it helped some to let it cool a little. But a few edges pulled up.

Try upping your dwell time to 5 seconds.

The instructions for the Spectra Reflect say to peel clear protective layer prior to cutting. When I am doing this it seems like I am taking the mylar off instead. Is there a way that someone can tell how to get this protective clear layer off?

If you're using the silver reflect there may not be a protective film on it. They tell me that there is one but I can not find it to peel it off. I use other vinyls that have a protective film and those are easy to remove but not this one. I'm not sure aboutthe colored reflective film-I haven't used these. Becareful not to be pulling ti off the mylar otherwise you won't be able to put it thru the cutter.

I still used my reflect silver with out remove the "protective liner" and the only problem I had was a small area that wouldn't release very well. It's too expensive to let it sit around.

I'm curious is your roll silver or someother color??
