The covers went fast and they are now out and no longer offering this promotion. The promo was only to registered owners of the printers.

I just scored free Cub's tickets. Four rows behind home plate. If you watch the Cub's game Thursday night, I'll be the guy behind home plate with a beer in his hand.

You in Chicago? I'm new here & just trying to get familiar. But I'm a 12 year Chicago cop ( that's why I'm asking)

Hey, I was out of town that day. I was with my wife. I was at a movie. It was just sitting there so I thought it was free.
Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm actually North burbs but worked in or around Chicago my whole life. Going to the Cub's game tomorrow night.
You still in Chicago?

Still here! I actually work on the South Side by The Sox near 35th St. I'm an animator & comic book artist who inherited an old Hix press looking to see what I can do with it so I joined this crew here. Good to see someone local around these parts!

It is a better deal, but the beer is free. I took bids on the second ticket. The winning coworker offered food, beer all night, transportation and maybe even a foam finger.
I'd like to score a VP540 though. Just can't afford one for awhile. I could afford the free cover, but it's one of those catch 22's. You have to have the printer to get the cover.

Oh great alibi by the way!!
There's many ways to make money with some paper and a press. Or just a press if you want to buy transfers from a place like Proworld.com, and then sell them at craft shows, or Ebay.
This is a discussion about Who else scored the FREE Roland cover??? that was posted in the Vinyl Cutters (Plotters) and Transfers section of the forums.
