Unhappy GRRR- Transfer Paper Leaving Vinyl

Grrr-

Newbie to Vinyl Cutters-

We have a US Cutters- Creation PCUT 24
We have BGS Vinyl
We have BGS Clear Hi-tack Application tape

We are having great success in cutting the vinyl

But we are not able to get the application tape to pick up the vinyl- no matter how hard we scratch or rub the vinyl

We have changed the blade depth manually- we have changed the Blade pressure on the cutter- and still we have poor success in getting the vinyl to stick to the transfer paper... Grrr

Any suggestion?
Any thoughts?
Any help?

Poor Vinyl maybe? it's new
Poor Transfer Paper? it's new

i've done this for a lot of years and have never heard of either your vinyl or your transfer tape but.....if you're not cutting too deeply into the backing paper when you cut the vinyl and it still won't come up - i suspect you got old stock. are you able to lift the vinyl off the backing paper at all? or is it sticking to the backing?? if it is sticking to the backing and tearing the paper - send it back, it's either old or defective.

if it comes up when you lift it manually (try slipping an exacto blade under the vinyl and see if you get a clean lift), then after you tape the cut vinyl, turn it over and try squeegeeing from the back.

Thanks-

I'll try both your suggestions-

Does temp have anything to do with it?
Warm Room? Cold Room? etc.

I have looked at the YouTube Videos of guys using the Transfer Tape and
cannot figure out why mine works so poorly-

Thanks again- This is a great Forum-

vinyl doesn't like to be too hot OR too cold LOL - i can relate if it's too cold it gets stiff and hard to work with - if it's too hot, it's gummy and hard to work with. but for the most part, comfortable temps for us humans is a comfortable temp for vinyl. extremes either way, not so much

It appears that the Transfer Paper I was sold was the low tack-
maybe even NO TACK- Heck it stuck to it's self and nothing else-

I found some better stuff and everything is working Great!!!

Thanks
Dan Ohlman-

Read my post here: transfer Tape not sticking to Same problem! Do you suppose I got the wrong stuff too? It was like Saran Wrap.. flimsy, not-sticky, and just generally A WASTE of money!
