I would say most people don't cut light transfers because their is no white box that is visable. The contour cutting is used to remove the box look. ..... JB

I agree with JB. When doing printed transfers on lights the box is hardly noticeable. On lights even cutting by hand is pretty simple. Besides, wouldn't you need carrier sheets to do lights. Seems like it would take longer.

FYI - The red grid backed transfer paper for light heat transfers does not need a carrier sheet.

I do know of companies that print-cut light transfers, but you need to increase the price to the customer so that you can offset the extra work...especially if you are weeding a difficult design.

Best wishes,

Mark

Roger your so right. The forums taught me everything I know. Except for the opaque transfer material sticking to the top of the platen, learned that one on my own. Now it's time to learn the fun and exciting world of heat press vinyl for fun and profitt!
