Thanks Rick. I guess I'm looking more for the original factory stripe/decal stuff. How do these sites know the dimensions of the vehicles that they make vinyl kits for? They must be under licence from the car manufacturers to reproduce some of this stuff.
In some cases, I'm guessing they found an original somewhere and reproduced them. I just did that for a local mustang club... I took a picture of their existing decal on a car, brought the picture into CutStudio, found all the edges, mirrored the image and resized it to the correct dimensions and cut it. Start to finish was about 5 minutes working with a good picture and a single color to start with.
You can buy a set of discs called Car&Truck Vehicle outline Collection. They make it very easy to lay out your graphics right on the computer.
thats exacty what i was gonna say..
we have the vehicle outline collections for doing wraps.. but they are good for laying out any vehicle graphics on as they have the dimentions of all the cars ..

But take note.. that reproducing any logo with out the companies permission is copywrite infringement..
and many car companies.. VW , and Chevy both are very active in going after anyone doing it..
