I've got my GX24 on a long filing cabinet. Found no need to pay $150 to 299 extra just for the stand.

I have the same set up as Jimmie. Got my heavy duty utility shelf/work bench unit from lowes. I sit the cutter on the front edge and stack the extra vinyl on the shelves below. I have another one turned 90 degrees from wall with my heat press on the end. It's a swing press 16x20(swings away from cutter) so I need it out from the wall to have full range. I have a table set up again 90 degrees on the other end of the cutter shelf unit with my laptop and large dye sub printer on the other side of my computer. It makes a nice square work area. I also have another banquet table along back of square for folding weeding, etc. The whole set up 2 6 ft. tables + two heavy metal shelving units costs less than 200 dollars.

Sounds like a great set up Enquirer. Do you think you would ever have a minute to snap a pic and post it? Sounds like a good use of space. If you don't have time, no problem... It's just easeir for me when I see things in a pic. But thanks for sharing that info either way.
