Hello everyone,

I am in the process of looking for a vinyl plotter. I was thinking about getting the Roland, but I wanted to if there were any out there that were just as good to start up with. Can some tell be how good this plotter actually is?

I don't know anything about the machine itself, but the cutting software (Artcut) is supposed to be one of the worst out there, from what I have heard. Never used it myself though.

Yes I know what you're saying, I myself am doing a job as I type this that will pay me more then I paid for my machine (refine 721 by US Cutter). I am doing 2 water hauling trucks and some shirts for the guy. It's not as much the machine as it is the software that is running the machine.

So what are the good software to look out for.

I have only ever used flexi as I got it on ebay. I have heard good things about WinPCSign,SignBlazer and Sign Cut but like I said I have never used any of them.
