Hi,

I have a design to put on the back on a tees :

A big screen printed logo of a sport club and the name of the player will be heat press above the logo.

What sequence order is best :

1. screen printed the logo (direct screen printing)
2. heat press the name

- a teflon sheet will be enought to protect the screen printing logo when heat applied the name ?

or
1. heat press the name
2. screen printed the logo (direct screen printing)

- but will the vinyl be affected in the conveyor dryer ?

If I'm understanding this correctly, the heat press application is vinyl, and the screen printing is direct (as opposed to a plastisol transfer).

In that case, I would screen print first, and then apply the vinyl.

You are correct, vinyl and direct screen printing.

So if I screen print first, and then heat apply the vinyl will a teflon sheet be enough to protect the screen printed design?

IMO I thing screen print first then do the vinyl. the only thing the heat press will do to the ink is cure it more which is not a bad thing.
