Hi.

Yes, you need to place your vinyl in your machine so that the side that you want to cut is UP.

On vinyl rolls, the side that you will cut is always on the OUTSIDE of the roll.

I'm not sure what vinyl you got with your plotter, but each vinyl has their own instructions, so you will need to contact your seller to find out how to press your vinyl.

Good luck!

hi colour side up is the way i added to cutter but it has plastic covering over it which it cut leaving to vinyl intact ..

i got it from mdsupplies pack c comes with 21 sheet of t shirt vinyl which sheets im using.

do i mirror image it, then if i did this it would be attach to the clear so can rest on tee to heat press..

what is good temp to transfer ?? head done in lol

You have to cut on the dull side of your vinyl sheet, you do not want to cut the backing side. hope this helps.
