Default Anyone else have problems with Spectra eco film neon

Has anyone else had trouble with eco-film neons?
I used the green for a job and never heard from the client again. Then I used some for a personal shirt and the graphic cracked pre-wash. And I mean horrible cracking across the entire garment.
I have a brand new phoinex phire heat press and followed the directions for the eco-film. I have been using Spectra products for almost 3 years and have had very few problems.
I contacted imprintables and talked to a rep. who said they have never had a problem and asked me to send pictures, so I did (twice) but received no answers.
Now the kicker is the eco-film neon is on inventory reduction sale on there website.
Hmmmm, makes me wonder.

Thanks jberte, I think I will try some.

I guess Imprintables could be clearing out the eco-neon because no one bought it.

Another observation on eco-neon. It's not a solid vinyl through out. It seems to be a white vinyl with neon green printed on top of it. The back side is one color and only the top is green. I never experienced that with any thermo-vinyl and thought it was strange.

I replied to your email on April 4th.

I have forwarded your photos onto our manufacturer and am awaiting a reason that this might happen.

I tested the stock that I have with good results and it did meet our stress test - photos are attached. I would like to get your actual roll back to test and replace with stock that I know is good.

The product is on overstock because of a purchasing error not because of quality or sales volume.

auggieboy, multicut's green neon has a white back too. But it has stood up for me, so far. I have only wore the shirt I did for myself with the neon green a few times, but so far it looks like it did when I first applied it.

Josh,
I never got an e-mail from you. If you sent me an e-mail I apologize maybe it got lost in cyberspace. However I did send you 2 e-mails and resent my original after I received no response.
I did not want to bring you into this matter since I already had an answer from you on the neon. I was posing the question to the board to see if anyone else had trouble. Please e-mail me in reference to sending back the neon and I will. Like I have stated many times I love the other spectra products and have never had any bad dealings with Imprintables, and would recommend them to anyone.
Thanks

I have dealt with Imprintables several times and their customer support is excellent, the minor incidents I did have they took care of right away.
That says alot about a company.

I agree Josh and Imprintables are stand up people. I t stands to reason if they help us be successful, they will benefit by selling us our supplies. I know some people have not been happy, but I feel I have been treated great when I had a issue. Thanks Josh for being "A MAN OF YOUR WORD" and to Imprintables for being "A GREAT VENDOR AND SPONSOR" to the Tshirt Forums community. ...... Jb
