I am trying to contour cut and I have watched the video's and looked at the forums and it still is not working. I print and then cut but it in the image. I am wanting to do this for a job this weekend that could lead to alot more business.
I paste a jpeg and then print & cut. then image outline move to the bottom. Print and cut. When it cuts it cuts it short they are runners and it cuts in the middle of the heads. Hope you can understand this.
Thanks

Do you mean that the cutter is cutting way off from the outline defined?
If so, make sure the image is within the crop area for better result. Also, check your cutting setting where the cutting area might be smaller than the image.
If you are printing on transfer paper, try to feed whole stack of papers into printer tray. The crop mark might be off if you feed only one paper to the printer as the printer will "drag" it in rapidly. The mark might not get printed accurately and once it's slightly off, your cutter won't cut according to what you want.
I am still new to GX24 too but happen to come across similar problem. Just to share with you my experience which I hope it will help.
I'm sorry for replying so late. I was having problems earlier...
One thing I'm curious about is why you're moving things...
What you can do BEFORE you print is grab your JPG AND your cutting paths, and move them at the same time so that they are completely within your registration marks. If I remember from the user manual, your cutting paths need to be completely to the right of your left marks, completely to the left of your right mark, completely above your bottom marks, and completely below your top mark.
So you bring in your JPG, create your cutting paths, then if you move them, move them at the same time...before you print. Once you print, you cannot move anything, otherwise it will cut where you've moved them to and not where you printed.
Remember, the only portion of your print that the GX-24 cares about is the registration marks. It doesn't care what else is printed on your paper or where your printed objects are. It only cares about your registration marks and your cutting paths, so if you move your cutting paths after you print, it will not cut where you want it to.
I hope that makes sense. If I misunderstood something please let me know.
Ok I am moving everything at the same time and just did it again with the same results. Now one thing I have notice is that in the black circles I can not see a crosshair should I? Or should it just be black to the naked eye.
I am so frustrated and just want this to work and can't figure out what I have done wrong? Thanks for all your help!
I have installed the update and shut down and restarted my computer and it is still doing it.
I don't move anything. It cuts off the same way everytime and have tried it on several different images.
What next I am open to anything at this point. Love the cutter but this contour stuff is frustating.
