Default Spectra cut Plus Question

Finally got around to testing some sc plus on nylon today. I was very impressed with how it turned out on a 100% blue nylon jacket.

The only thing I noticed is after the final press, I see what looks like a melted look around all the letters, kind of a shiny look. Not real noticable but its there if the light hits it just right.

Just curious if anyone else has ever used this material on 100% nylon. Is this melted look normal?

That is actually the adhesive squeezing out from behind the material. One way to prevent it would be to lighten the pressure on the heat press.

One way to clean it up would be to press the design again with a dish towel as the cover sheet. Should remelt the adhesive and clean it up.

It was an older jacket anyway so I'm not to worried about getting it cleaned up, but the towel method did get rid of 75% of it. Still in the testing stages so just using scrap garments.

Tried another press using lighter pressure and it does make a difference. Tnx for the tips!
