Question Can you help me :| (with sign cutX2)

I have a SEIKI cutter and the program is signX2. I can NOT figure this thing out!! I need to cut letters that fit 2'X6" and 3'X6".
Can anyone PLEASE help me!! I've been trying to figure this out for days!! ARG!!

OK, so I figured out the dimentions...but now its not cutting!!!

How is your cutter connected to you computer? USB, serial, parallel. You would probably be better off asking this question on sign cut's website, honestly I don't know how active it is but I know Kimon is an admin there so he would be more then will to help you get it going.

USB,I checked the connections, they are all good to go.

Click on Settings, then Cutter. Make sure you have the correct Manufacturer and Cutter selected, and also the correct COM port for the USB connection. Probably COM3 or higher. You can check your Device Manager under the Ports category to see which COM port has been assigned to your USB connection.
If you are using a Mac, it is a different story.

Is the cutter Online when you tell it to cut? I am not that familiar with the Seiki cutters, but that is the only other thing I could think of if you have your settings in SignCut correct. Either that or it is a hardware issue with the cutter.

Vinylcutz make sure you install all your drivers too. Let us know how it goes i have a seikitech as well and had mines up and running in less than 1 hour. Also pm me with your number to see if i can help.
