I just want to say the Qe is a signwarehouse product. I and many other members(check the threads) have had bad experience with their customer servie department. I experienced they are quick to take your mony and slow to help fix a problem.I suggest you go with another company for your cutter. I truly wish I had. I have had good experiences with several other dist. I suggest you contact Imprintables to help you or check out us cutter too. good luck. ....... JB

Ouch Coeds. We can't be as bad as that, are we?! :^)

Kidding, JB. But, if you saw the metrics on our tech support feedback, I think you'd be impressed. But even if the metrics were as near perfect as everyone happy but one person, the failure rate is 100% for that person. So if there's something we haven't done in your case that we should, please let me know, or call our support department at 800 966.6834.

Thanks,

Jim

nice you dropped in.
I think it's less about Coeds and more about the general consensus throughout the board.
If you saw the metrics of your tech support as it is discussed here in open forums you might find some areas that need attention.
Since you are in marketing I would expect the tone of your message to be what it is. I would suggest you have your tech support manager and or PR VP paroose this and other open forums for ideas on how your support could improve after the sale.

See this an opportunity not a critique.

I have spent several hours waiting for tech support or their returned calls.I realize your numbers may say different, but in short your customer support staff is not reliable. I judge people on what they do. I hate to be promised things and then there be no follow through. I called my sales person and told her of my issue and was assured she would get back with me. That was a year ago and I'm still waiting for her to call.I encourage you to let people know their actions, truly speak louder than words. I hope you read all the things being said about your company. I will say one positive thing, My sales person told me that Hotmark 70 vinyl was a good product to use. I have found she was 100% correct .

I bought the GX-24 from Coastal Business, I am very pleased with the cutter as well with the way I was treated at Coastal.
From my own experience I highly recommended them.

Got my GX-24 today. While I've been in the embroidery business for almost 2 years, I've never seen or touched a machine like this. Ever.

Out of the box, hooked up and ran my first design in an hour. Basic lettering, but it proved to me that it could be done. Now I'm off to start playing with cutting twill to use for our embroidery designs.

I just got back from the NNEP(national Network of Embroidery Proffessionals) show in Columbus today. I saw a few people selling the roland and it looks like a sweet machine. I talked price with 2 different companies and neither company could compete with the Imprintables price. When i mentioned the price they told me there was no way that it could be done. I assured them that, I spoke to Josh and he said that was the price. ...... JB

The QE-60 is a Graphtec CE5000-60 plotter, but I'm not sure if it includes the registration marks sensing. You can get a Graphtec-Branded plotter for the same price as the rebranded QE-60 form Specialty Graphics Supply

If you need to contour cut (inkjet transfers or printed stickers), I say spend the extra money and buy a GX-24 (Imprintables has the best price on that plotter).

If you don't need to contour cut, and vinyl is all you'll need to cut, get the Graphtec. If you decide later that you would like to contour cut, with the Graphtec you can, it's just more finicky than the Roland.

I agree, I have made my last purchase from Signwarehouse and the next one will be from one of their competitors. I just had a email from a fellow forum memeber and she stated that she had a horrible experience with the service department. I know you can show numbers that can support different, but i also know there are tricks that will allow you manipulate the matrix. Most call centers numbers are detemined by calls answered and not on the outcome of the call. I think signwarehouse could be a asset to the industry, but right now they are more of a asset to their competition. ....... Jb

Hello we wanted to thank everyone for their help and info on our post, they were very useful.
What we ended up deciding on was the Graphtec CE5000-60 24" from signsupply.com and the Pro-Pack #3 from Bestblanks.com We just started setting things up yesterday.
Wish us luck..Mike & Della
