I'm doing a motorcross jersey and the person wants black for the text and white as the border around it. Is this possible with a vinyl cutter? If so please tell me how to do it?

u will have to layer that which should be pretty easy. design the t and cut ur border with the white vinyl, then go back and cut your black , layer them on shirt then press.
Do you only press once? Or do you do outline, press, inlay, press? Is the outline only cut as an outline or does it also contain the original. Sounds confusing but I don't know how else to word it. I am think by layered you mean that the original text is two layered with the outline color underneath? Sorry for all the confusion

when u cut the border, set it up on your garment as if u were going to press, then do ur text same way. then press them together.
With heatpress vinyl like thermovlex plus...I press the first layer for 5 seconds and peel. Press the second layer per normal pressing instructions. You cant press them together because of the mylar transfer sheet.
You can cut a solid background oand overlay the whole thing. Or you can cut an outline and trap or choke the bottom or top color. Much easier to get good registration if you overlay the entire color. You will build up the density of the transfer so dont do it with more than two or maybe three colors.

Dodank, could you explain that more? How can i do it on my program, signblazer elements? I'm still having a hard tim understanding this.
I don't know about Sign Blazer but, I can tell you how I do this with my Craft Robo...maybe that will help.I lay out my text and lettering in Corel Draw. Be sure to make them 2 different colors (any 2 colors will do). I then send it to the cutter, load my vinyl for the first color, and tell the cutter to cut that color. Next load the vinyl for your second color, and tell the cutter to cut that color. So if you had red lettering and a yellow border, you would cut the red vinyl, then the yellow vinyl.Weed both pieces. Lay down the first piece, heat press for about 3 seconds, peel the backing. Now lay down the second piece, and heat press for your normal time, peel the backing.Lay down your teflon sheet or parchment paper (I prefer parchment for this step), and press for about 3 to 5 seconds.
