Red face Roland Gx 24 only cutting miniature versions of what I ask it to cut

Hi,

I've been working with a Roland gx 24 cutter which worked just fine, but now, all of a sudden it only makes miniatures of the things I want to cut.

So if I try to cut out objects that are 5 to 25 cm, he'll do the best he can, to cut it all out using just 1 cm2.

It worked just fine before, can anyone tell me what might have caused this or what I can do to change it?

Thx

I ran into a problem changing things in the cut preview window instead of changing settings in corel before cutting and it was causing all kinds of problems.Don't know if that is where your are changing your sizes but it was a try.

What software are you using to send the file to the cutter?

Load a roll into it to set it up.

Hit the menu button.

Then hit the down arrow key until you see 'Others' - Hit the right arrow key to go into 'Others' - Now hit down arrow until you see 'Factory default'- Hit right arrow key to go into this setting - Press 'Enter' to reset the machine.

This should eliminate the questions as to whether or not it is a cutter setting and lower it down to the software if you are still having issues after this reset.

You will nee to re-program your downforce to be accurate.

donno if this will help.. but..
when i need to change the size i do it in cutstudio..
I have the object selected and go to
Object/properties and put the size in there..
then you need to make sure to move it to origin under the same tab (object)
hope this helps
