I recently order some easy weed vinyl form a company i saw on the forum. they looks fine until i cut the design i found out that my letters are falling off the vinyl, there are no adheasive to hold them on. Can someone tell me if these are consider old vinyl? I am highly upset because this is the week-end and my order is needed for monday.

Whats the name of the manufacture of the material? What are you applying it to? How are you applying it? It sounds by your post, you applied garment adornment vinyl to something vinyl. Is that correct?

I dont know the manufacture of that product. I got it form All American Supply. They were to be use for name of kids in a soccer tournement on t shirts, but as soon as i pull it from the cutter the letters are falling off. I got it from them because i am doing 170 shirts all different colors and it would be cheaper to buy them from a company that sells by the yard. I sent an email today to All American and i will also call on monday. I will keep you all posted. I am leaving to meet with the organizers to plea for another day.

If the images you are cutting are falling off the sheet after you cut, then you amy have the downfoce set too high. Meaning the pressure used to push the cutting blade down anf through the material. Is the any backing material (usually clear Mylar) left or a hole where the unweeded image should be. I photo posted would also help if youre able.

hammered... thats exactly what I was thinking... too much downforce...

I use vinyl all of the time that doesn't have an adhesive on the carrier and have no problems... Just make sure you aren't cutting too deep. However, I accidentally ordered some Firstmark (it has the adhesive on the carrier) and I love it!!

So the carrier acts as application tape eh? I may try some. Ive been stuck on how well Eco-Films work, but Im up for something new.

Sorry no photo at this time. I am sure I am cutting correct ,the Vinyl has no adhesive on the backing. Its held to geather by static I purchase from Imprintables and never had a problem ,however they could not sell me 3yards each on 10 different colors that i need for this job. I wish inprintables can be more understanding to small buisness like mine.

me too. they did it once but that was it. it really defeats my purpose if i can not do it by the yard sometimes. therefore, i have to shop somewhere else.
