Default spectra cut plus

Will this work on a cotton hat???
It says nylon and so does the stuff I got from sign warehouse but then the one from sign warehouse says it can be used on 100% cotton.

Just wanting to know before I press it.
or I need to switch to the easy weed.

Thanks
