I use superflex from xpres (UK), never had a problem with very small letters, but i tend to try and do very small letters in an easy font like sprint because it does not leave many bits. The font can have a considerable effect on the weeding in my opinion.

I have an easier time weeding thermoflex since the mylar is stiffer. But I like the feel of the imprintables eco vinyl, but the mylar in thinner and makes it slightly more difficult. However both are very easy to weed.

I just tried some of the vinyl from Fellers. I can't remember the name and it was similiar to the thermoflex and seemed to have the feel of the eco. I haven't put it through the wash to see how it stands up though.
