Default What model is this cutter?

HI,

Am new here, and am looking to purchase a cutter that can cut vinyl, and also scrapbook as a hobby.

This forum seems to have the "experts" around where cutters are concerned ..So can someone here please help in identifying this cutter on ebay?

New 12" Scrapbook Cutter+Funtime Software Bonus!! - eBay (item 150223985713 end time Mar-16-08 06:28:24 PDT)

Its a 12" red color cutter that claims to have 500gm cutting force!

Also, does anyone have experience with the Funtime Software?

Thanks,
Steven

Taneks, what are you going to use the cut vinyl for? I've been researching a lot of different cutters. My choice is going to be the Craftrobo pro. I will be contour cutting inkjet printed t shirt transfers etc., so the optical eye attracts me, as well as the good reputation. I searched the forums for information. Myself I would only buy equipment from reputable dealers. I have known several people that have gottten burned buying equipment on E- Bay.

Hi Mike,

Am planning to use it for my kid's art and crafts, scrap books, T-shirts (non commercial), so I do not need a pro model.

Was leaning towards the craft robo with an easy to use software eg, .funtime scrapbooking. that was when I saw this other cutter in ebay.

Hi Steven, I run a very small T shirt business from my home. I don't want to limit myself. Good luck with your decision.

This cutter is an over priced hobby machine.. I would not spend that kind of $$ plus shipping for a 12 inch cutter.. I dont know scrap booking or of the requirements or what or how you cut...but sure seem high to me

search this forum..there is a lot of info on the lesser expensive cutter. I think US Cutter has a couple in the same prince range

I have no intention of running a t-shirt factory....it is meant as a gift for my daughter for art and crafts, and if it can also do t-shirts, so much the better. The software needs to be easy to use.

Am not sure if the craft robo will be able to cut through heavier paper stock or vinyls for t-shirts, and the one on ebay (500gms) seems interesting....if someone here has had experience with it, it would be good to know.

Just saw your post Charles...thanks...will look at US Cutter as well.

Thanks
