Default USCutter & CutterPros Any good?

Okay, I know this has been asked before, so I apologize for asking again. I know you know the story lol, big dreams and aspirations with little knowledge and capital.

I know the Roland is better, but are the machines from uscutter and cutterpros (seem to be the same machines) any good? Durability issues?

We have quite a few very happy USCutter customers on these forums. I'm not sure about CutterPros or what their customer service is like, but many people have commented on the service and support that USCutters offers, tho there was one person that had a hard time with them.

If you don't need to contour cut inkjet transfers, a Copam 2500 is your best bet. It's a little more than the Refine series, but then again, it's most likely more of a machine, too, and will last longer.

If you do need to do contour cutting but don't need to cut signs (if you're only using this for making t-shirts), I highly suggest you look at the Graphtec CE5000-40 CraftROBO Pro. It will cut up to 14.7" wide, accept media up to 19" wide, and has an automatic registration mark sensor for contour cutting.

It's available at Specialty Graphics Supply

Also, for a couple hundred less than the GX-24, you could get a machine that's just as good: the Graphtec CE5000-60 24" plotter, which also has the ARMS (reg mark sensor). It's also available at Specialty.

Specialty offers a 5% discount to forum members and 10% off of all supplies (vinyl, teflon sheets, etc) for 30 days after you purchase your plotter, as well as free shipping.

If you get one of their package deals you could save another $100 off of their already low retail.

Just a few options for you to consider.

Well, I will most likely be doing car and motorcycle graphics, window tint, some signs, probably t shirts also.

Would the pcut or laserpoint be suitable?

Yeah, then you'll want at least a 24" plotter.

I don't know much about the PCut or LaserPoint, so I can't say anything good or bad about those.

for car graphics, i would say a 24'' machine is a minimum.
for the different cuttres vapabilities, you could read the "apples to apples" thread on this forum.
the refine uscutter is a worthy opponent for my copam 2500, which is a good machine, too
in fact, for this job, did better:
