 Re: ink for vinyl?
Depends on the vinyl and the printer being used. The newer machines run the Eco-Sol inks. They are low odor needing lees ventilation. The older solvent inks can be a real problem in a home based business due to the smell. I own a thermal resin ink printer/cutter by Roland. It works in a similar fashion as the ribbon typewriter, but using heat to transfer the ink to the vinyl. In most cases, the manufacture will list printing method that material is best suited for. |
