Default Vinyl Cutter/Printer

My friend owns a Roland Vinyl Printer/Cutter. I dont know what model it is but i know he first puts a white vinyl in his Printer then prints the colors on just the vinyl and leaves target marks to later cut. After its printed he then places back in the Printer and it gets cut. I want to do all over designs by doing silk screening not heat transfers and was wondering if their was a way i could print out my designs on transfer paper using his Roland Printer. Or maybe get the image or design cut on vinyl and then lay the vinyl on transfer paper some how to then be burnt onto the screen. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We have a small Roland vinyl die cutter. We use it to make banners, etc. I was supplied with some thin (plastic? something) that supposedly can be cut & then ironed on. It was a big failure for us. I still have the roll of white plastic but wouldn't even think of wasting my time trying again.

A1, Thats a real interesting idea. I also have a friend who owns a printer/cutter. And Im also looking to do an all-over design. I wonder if the printer will take fabric and then turn the printed fabric into a shirt. Im going to find out.
