Which company has the best vinyl t-shirt material. The one that is most like screen print look and feel?
I have used several, and most have a stiff feel. I dont like that. My tees a more for fashion, not athletics.
Thanks,
Roz
I've found that ThermoFlex Plus has about the same feel as some screenprinting (not water-based), but if you want, there are a couple of companies with actual plastisol sheets that you cut on a plotter. One of them is TuffCut from Transfer Papers and Sublimation Inks at Joto
The only problems with material like this is that it doesn't have a sticky backer, so it's more difficult to weed small designs, and you can't layer it. The reason you can't layer it is that the bottom colors come right through the top layers., unfortunately.
I found that easy weed has barely any feel to it. I think its great! I am a screen printer and bought a cutter for small run jobs. I think the easy weed is awesome!
I have had great success with Hotmark 70. The easyweed is great too. The cost is comparable, but shipping for me is cheaper on the Hotmark 70. I wish you the best of luck. ...... JB
