Default craft robo pro files

Hello all,

I just received a cr pro. It was a demo unit and they forgot to put in the robomaster and driver files. I have cutting master, and the Graphtec site has cutting master, and files for vista, but not the standard drivers. I was wondering if any of you computer types could email me, ftp etc.. the driver files for this unit and robomaster pro if possible. They will be sending some in the mail but i want to get started on some projects. I could recieve it via dropload or some other service that allows large files. Thanks in advance.

Wayne

I wish I could help you.

I'm not sure if the CE5000-40 uses the same drivers as the CE5000-60.

I know it's hard to wait, but I think that's what you're going to need to do if Graphtec can't come up with downloads for you. I'm amazed that they don't have it on their site!

Thanks Chani,

After much searching on google, I came across this graphtec support site which has everything. Support :Craft ROBO-GRAPHTEC

You can't get there from their main site--very strange but i got it all downloaded. Now I just cant get the paper to load properly. I only have a 12 by 12 carrier sheet and it pulls it in fine, but then it ejects it all the way out. I will probably post this question next. Whats a newbie to do?

Thanks again,

Wayne

That's really strange. I don't know what to say about that issue.

What setting are you loading your media in with? When you first load your media, it will ask you if you want Roll1, Roll2, or Sheet. For carrier sheets, press the Next button on your plotter until you get to Sheet.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe it's not "seeing" your carrier sheet because it's too clear. But I've used carrier sheets before and it's been just fine, so I don't know why that would be a problem...

Thanks for the response,

I have tried several carrier sheets, even a 11 by 17 piece of photo paper just to trt. That worked once. Every other time it pulls it in does its stuff and then when the paper comes back out instead of stopping, it just continues to get ejected. I do have the setting on sheet. Perhaps it is the media reader itself. That is what I get for getting a demo unit. Also-- is the paper supposed to slide under both rollers when you lower the bar in the rear? My left one is fine and the paper slides under, but the right one is really tough to slide it under. I think this unit is going back for a new one

Yeah, it sounds like you might have issues with this machine.

Where did you buy it?

It was a demo, supposed to be slightly used from Sign Warehouse. They were very nice-- just bad luck I guess. I will probably try for a new one at specialty graphics using the discount.

Thanks,

Wayne
