Vinyl transfers are cut using a computer program and a cutter/plotter. The material is a heta transfer type vinyl that after cutting, you remove the excess from the piece (weeding) then turn it over and heat press on to the garment.
The material comes in many different colors and textures and is great for small runs, names or personalization of garments. Some manufactures are Thermoflex, IMprintables Wharehouse, Stahls and twill USA.
It is not the same as sign-vinyl and that cannot be heat applied.
As far as being better I think that is a matter of choice. |
