Default T-shirt designs can be done three ways

As I see it T-shirt designs/Transfers can be done three ways, There maybe more I only know of three.

1. Create a design using Graphic software from a computer sending it to a Printer/Plotter using special vinyl just to make heat transfers.

2. Create a design using Graphics software from a computer sending it to a Epson Photo Printer, using special ink to create a transfer.

3. Purchase a design from a online Vinyl Supply Outlet that specializes in heat Transfers and purchase as many as you need.

The question here is which one is the best for online sales? Can't afford all of then right now, so if you were to purchase just one to start. Which would it be?

What kind of online sales? Makes a huge difference as to which of these (if any) is the right solution for the job.

First, thanks for geting back to me on this so soon. And I am opening a web site along with a E-Bay account. I have a Veras Cam SP540v, just seems like over kill using this monster to do T-Shirts. I also have a Epson 1400 photo printer I am going to hook up with a aftermarket ink supply system. I also have a Hp, inkjet printer but that is only good for 8.5" x 11" paper. There are also alot of good Supply stores that offer Transfers alot nicer than I could make right now. So i will also look into this aspect. Seems like I just answered my own question, A little of each would be nice......

So back to our question I will do local sports teams, I can contact here, I will also advertize in the local papers. With the amount of commercial project's going on here in Las Vegas, I should hope to be busy, if I can get my foot into the door sort of speak.

Excellent, that didn't take much effort on our part then

I would think that the combination of using a vinyl plotter where appropriate and outsourced plastisol transfers where appropriate would work well to cover that.

you can send your designs to a transfer company and have them make the transfers
you can send your designs to a screen printer and have them make the prints on the shirts
you can print directly on the shirts with DTG
