Default Thermoflex Sport Question

Hey all, just got my vinyl supplies in and have made a few stickers with my new PCut plotter. Works great so far!

I'm ready to try out some Thermoflex Sport to add my son's name to his football jersey, but don't know which side to place up when cutting. There's a shiny side and a dull side.

I'm ASSUMING I want to cut with the dull side up, weed, cover with teflon sheet and then press onto the jersey. BUT, I hate assuming anything, so I'm asking the experts here.

Thanks!

I will post a pic when I get it done.

You're right...cut it on the dull side, weed and apply. Just be sure to cut it in a mirror image.

Ok folks, here's the pic. I think it turned out great!

The jersey was originally screenprinted with the numbers, I just added the name.

Hopefully the attachment works.

Looks good and once the other parents see it they will probably be wondering "where you had that done?" Good Job!

Thanks everyone. I'm trying to get the uniform contract for next year actually. We only have 2 games left this season and I did all the parent tees for them already.

Hopefully this can become a steady source of repeat business though.

Hey Bill, just an FYI, Twill USA makes SportFilm in an 18" roll for about $26 for 5 yds. That's what I use for my sport applications, and it's good quality, durable and easy to apply. I've never used ThermoFlex Sport, but use the ThermoFlex Plus all the time, and it's good stuff, but much more expensive. So if you want to try saving some money without sacrificing quality, give the SportFilm a try.

Good job on the shirt.
