Default Open-path data PROBLEM

Hi everyone,

I'm rather new in this fields of printing and cutting.
I have a MIMAKI CG-60SR plotter, and I had some difficulties before I managed to cut stuff properly. But on thing is still bothering me.
Namely, when I want to cut with registration marks, the first message that appears when I want to plot is: "Open-path data (start and stop point does not align) was found in object. FinCut cuts this data." What am I doing wrong?

thanx

As far as I know the Mimaki uses partial crosses as registration marks. If drawn with lines they form paths that aren't closed. So my guess is you selected the registration marks (open paths) along with the design and send it to the cutter. You should only select the design, and send that data to the cutter to get rid of open-path errors. If the error still comes up after that you better start checking your design for open paths using zoom
