Need to Register?

I am just getting started with vinyl. I will be ordering pre-cut products.

I have several embroidery customers that want me to set up a pricing chart for vinyl team name and numbers (they would be supplying the garment ) There are SO MANY variables :size of order, size of letters ...... Any suggestions? to get my head to quit spinning?

With shipping and handling charges I obviously need to have minimums. Looking at prices I'm figuring for ONE application of a name and number I would have to charge at least $25 and then about $17 for two, etc.. Does that seem out of line? Am I figuring something wrong? Remember this price does not include the garment, its the vinyl only.

Since I have not actually done an order yet and don't have a true feel of the time involved I'm not sure what to charge for labor, overhead, etc.
I appreciate ANY suggestions

I charge $6.00 to $8.00 for name and numbers on back. That's 1.5" letters for names and 8" numbers, single color but I cut my own out.

Is that regardless to the size of the order? Do you keep letters and numbers on hand?

but still...Do you charge the same regardless of the size of the order? Don't you have some minimums?

When using the vinyl and cutting your own, the prices generally stay the same regardless of the numbers needed as the price of the vinyl stays the same. Some may offer a discount for multiple orders, but most don't.

I think there is usually a discount for multiples. The deal with vinyl is at a certain point plastisol transfers make more economic as well as time sense..

for small orders I would not change...for large order...pastisol

Those prices are for qty. 1-12 then I will discount $1.00 for 13-24 and so on. I don't do plastisol transfers for number and names as I can design and cut them out in about 2-3 minutes. Besides if it is for a team then every name and number is going to be different. Now if I am doing their logos then yes I would plastisol them anything over 24 and do names and numbers with vinyl.
