Hi Alex, I own a copan, I have to tell you its a work horse, you can cut anything you want to with it,, only thing it does not have the optical eye to read printed registration marks so you can conture cut around printed transfers, but other than that you can't go wrong. Hope this helps

I have noticed that the buy it now prices on ebay are the same as listed on thier web site.

notice though, the warrantee offered on eBay are ONE YEAR. Purchasing on the web site is the same price but offeres a TWO YEAR warrantee.

I read somewhere that they reduce the warrantee period due to the costs of listing on eBay.

yes that is so, but you can buy the extended warranty after you buy it at auction,, If I remember it was around $79.00

the extended warranty is for how long?

point is eBay is $649 w/1 year warranty
uscutters web site is $649 w/2 year warranty

I'm sure you can purchase the extended warranty for either in which case I can assume the web site extended warranty is above and beyond the 2 year ?
either way you get a longer warranty for the same $$.

Maybe I don't understand the "yes but..." statement.

is it possible that purchasing the eBay auction gives you a longer warranty if you purchase the extended warranty?

I believe when Roger won his auction the copam's was starting out lower then the current $599.00 price. That's how he got his so much cheaper, now it is better to purchase directly from us cutter's website I believe.

ok now make this mental note,, if you have communication problems from your cutting software to your cutter go to best buy and get a new usb driver and cord,, it will fix the problem,, I am not sure if they have changed that since I got mine but thats what I had to do,, after that it doesnt skip a beat..
