Default cutting without registration marks

Hey guys,

I usually use my GX-24 for t-shirt transfers. Now I'm just doing a simple decal that I want to cut out of oracal decal material.

For T-shirt transfers, I NEED registration marks to cut the image. But can I make the GX-24 cut the decal blind out of the oracal or do I actually have to print registration marks on it first?

You don't need registration mark to cut a decal,if you have vector software like adobe illustrator that hook up to your cutter when you send it out to your cutter it twill automatically detect the vector points to be cut. Using a registration mark, if you gonna print image to a printer and cut it to your cutter that the one you need registration mark.
I have a COPCAM cutter, and i cut decal and heat transfer vinyl

Hello,

You don't need registration marks to cut vinyl. Registration marks are only for contour cutting. Just press cut and send your job to the cutter. FYI-- you need a solvent-based ink printer to print onto sign vinyls...water-based inks will not adhere.
