Default Need cutting help on GX 24

How do I know if something is ready for cutting if I create it in Corel?

I know this may sound stupid bt I have someone wanting football helmets, volleyballs and soccer balls and I am just not sure how.

I have not had great success with the vinyl cutter, out of every machine I have this seems to be the most complicated. Everytime I cut just letters they do not want to weed, they all want to come off the with the junk

Please help
Have someone coming tonight that wants me to cut some things for her.

Thanks so much

In corel go to the view menu and select wireframe...this will show you what the plotter is seeing. Then you can correct any problems you see.

As far as the weeding, sounds like you might need to set you force up a little...with the blade reveal set to the thickness of a credit card, I find most vinyl to cut at around 90.

Thanks
How will I know in wireframe if it is ready to cut?
I have it set above 90 and it still does it.

Thank you for the reply

Why is the Roland the hardest thing for me to do?
I have screen printing, sublimation, pad, and the Brother but cannot figure the GX 24 out for nothing

I just cut an image and the M and I in the first word were missing and the W in the second word was missing

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? I put it down into the corner of the page on the computer screen. Where can I take classes for this machine so I can try to figure it out.

Are you using the Roland Cut Studio software, or a Corel Plugin?

The Cut Studio is very easy to use, just drop a large jpg in, outline it, clean up your cut lines a tad and cut it.

Make sure you have a 45 degree blade and that it is not worn out. Load your vinyl and the cutter will give you the width. Set the page size in Corel to this width. Place your image in the revised page size. Corel by default outlines all objects by .003. GX24 will not detect objects with this thick outline. Select all objects and reduce outline to .001. Read your manual for cutter force.

Good luck
