You mean the plugin for cut studio?

What problems are you having with it?

when i have a vector image in cx3, i press the plugin tool for the cutstudio, it makes cut lines for every color? it seems more harder then trying to just import the image to the cutstudio and figuring out the right contour lines, plus u have the image to work with. what about the registration marks, i'm assuming we have to create our own? i hope not, lol. is there something i'm missing here?

Are you trying to cut from a vector file or a raster file?

Are you trying to do a one color image or a multi color vinyl design?

i'm sorry rodney but i don't think i'm clearly asking the right question. using cut studio itself isn't the problem. its the actual plug-in for cx3. is it suppose to be better?

I didn't think you used the CorelDraw X3 plugin when you wanted to cut heat transfers?

Yes, just for vinyl or flock transfers.

It takes the vector file from CorelDraw and sends it to CutStudio as a ready to cut image.

If you want to just contour cut around a transfer using the Roland GX-24 optical eye, you would just use cutstudio to set it up (like in the video).

thanks rodney, does it create better cut lines from cx3 to cut studio for vinyl or is it the same as if you imported it to cut studio and created a contour cut lines?

I think it depends on how clean your source image is.

I did a quick video showing the contour cutting import feature and posted in this other thread: Roland Cut Studio Problems - cutting opaque transfers with Roland GX-24
