Question Plotter cutter correct blade positioning???

I have had a question about the proper blade positioning in a cutter plotter in my mind for a few days.
You know the blades have a part that reach the vinyl (the point) and the other part doesnt. Which of this ends "looks" forward? Does it really matters? What is the right position? See attached image for better understanding.

What is the right position?
A
B
None of the above

Thanx

i have used a roland gx-24 for about 6 months and never once paid any attention to blade point "positioning". it has not seemed to matter at all. one less thing to worry about!

Neither way or either way, it doesn't matter, just be sure it is in the hole that is over the plastic strip and not the felt strip. Felt strip is for the pen attachment.

The blade is set in a ball bearing and swivels as it cuts. So as the machine drags the blade over the vinyl it always stays pointed in the correct direction.

There are machines that control the actual pointing of the blade but I believe these types cannot be put in backwards.
